Thanks all. I appreciate the comments. Whilst I certainly understand what Dimitrios is saying I should perhaps say that these planes are not in active service. The Red Arrows are a British air display team.

Daniel - I have to admit the colours were a complete accident! The original was very light and the sky behind them was very non-descript pale blue. But as the planes had crossed in front of us already with their red blue and white smoke streams (on the original they are hardly visable) when I pumped up the levels quite dramatically the colours came through. I then just duplicated and blended a few times. It was lucky really as the original was so awful I was going to delete! Thanks for the comments
